This year I’ve had a ride in a chopper, dislocated my shoulder and tore the meniscus in my knee skiing. Also a ride in an ambulance due to a reaction to the second jab and cancer, they say things come in 3’s so that’s it for me. I’m done and ready to bring on 2022, can only get better from here!
8am chemo, nurse’s were keen to get the heck out of there and celebrate NY, fair enough! Came home, had a halloumi burger, bath and now getting ready for our big party this evening, (big party for two watching Netflix and ordering takeaways).
To all of you who have reached out since my diagnosis and in particular over the Xmas/NY period, the txts, phone calls, thoughtful gifts have all been incredible and I am so grateful, you are what keeps a smile on the dial.
Have a bubbles or two for me and don’t forget to send me your NY antics so I can live vicariously through everyone for the evening! HAPPY NY to you all.
As far as I’m concerned 2021 can indeed f#ck off and take Gary with em, never to be seen again.
